About the Role

CDLA Tractor Trailer Driver Our Drivers at Lapham-Hickey Steel are an important point of contact with our customers.

Load, secure and deliver flat-rolled coil steel materials in a safe, efficient, timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities and Duties: Drive Tractor Trailer to make steel deliveries as dispatched by LH Rome. Conduct Pre-trip

and Post-trip inspections. Keep track of on-duty hours and driving hours by use of JJ Keller ELD System or manual log

book. Position cargo to meet legal weight limits Secure cargo by safest way possible in accordance with DOT guidelines.

Keep cargo protected from weather and damage by using tarp and chain protectors. Keep paperwork organized and accurately
