About the Role

Substitute Bus Driver (Alternative Student Driver) In the absence of the regular school bus driver, transports students

to and from the assigned education center, controls passenger behavior, and maintains safe operation of the assigned bus

on an as-needed basis. Essential Functions: Safely transports students to and from school, school-related activities,

and other approved locations using an alternative transportation vehicle. Utilizes assigned technology platforms,

tablets, GPS, and communication devices to manage routes, document trips, and communicate with Transportation staff.

Conducts and documents pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with district and Georgia Department of
