SUMMARY This position performs skilled work in the electrical maintenance and repair of water/wastewater treatment
plants, pump stations, and all related equipment. An employee in this classification may work independently or as a crew
leader with other mechanics, laborers, and the pump station operators during repair assignments and assists in
developing and implementing preventive maintenance program and maintaining detailed records. An individual in this
position is on 24-hour call, 7 days a week. This position reports to the Maintenance Mechanic Superintendent. ESSENTIAL
