About the Role
Facilities, Maintenance, and Repair This position operates heavy equipment in the repair and maintenance of City
stormwater infrastructure. Essential Functions Operates heavy equipment in the maintenance and repair of the storm water
system; operates a loader, skid steer, backhoe, dump truck, excavator, street sweeper, etc. Unloads and loads equipment
for transport. Installs and removes storm pipes; repairs potholes, trenches, and curbs; digs trenches for the
installation of pipes; and cleans debris and trash out of storm sewers, catch basins, and drains. Assists in masonry
work, such as building headwalls, retaining walls, and catch basins. Grades; prepares forms; pours and finishes concrete
