About the Role

Job Title Public Works Dept. Job Description This is semi-skilled work associated with projects and activities within

the Public Works Department. Work involves helping at the Recycling Center, working around park areas; litter control,

cleaning restrooms, weed eating, grass cutting, weeding planted beds and assorted park maintenance tasks. May be

required to work in other divisions within the Public Works Department. Tasks require the ability to exert physical

effort in heavy work, with greater emphasis on climbing and balancing, but typically also involving some combination of

stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, and the lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of moderately heavy
