About the Role

Job Summary This position is responsible for maintaining the landscape and grounds of the campus. Responsibilities

Maintains safe sidewalks, parking lots, and streets - 25% Blows leaves. Removes limbs. Applies ice melt. Edges walkways

and street curbs. Maintains storm drains. Responds to emergency calls for leaks or storm cleanup. Maintains grounds and

landscaping - 50% Waters plants by irrigation, water trailer, hoses, and watering cans. Mows grass. Trims weeds. Applies

chemicals including herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and fertilizers at the appropriate time and rate. Mulches,

rocks, and spreads pine straw at least 200 cubic yards per year. Installs and repairs irrigation systems. Removes litter
