Refuse Driver Collector
About the Role
Job Posting The purpose of this classification is to drive or operate sanitation trucks and manually collect refuse
along a prescribed route. This is a special classification to provide incentives for those drivers who split their time
between driving the vehicle and functioning as a Refuse Collector. This classification is safety sensitive, subject to
random drug testing in accordance with the County's Drug & Alcohol Policy. The following duties are normal for this
position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is
similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required and assigned. Drives
