About the Role
About the Job Responsible for fabricating steel main members (beams and columns) as well as fabricating other projects
(tube sockets, roof opening frames, etc...). Fabricators are responsible for the proper placement and assembly of weld
parts (piecework). Must be able to read Structural Steel drawings as well as be able to recognize and uphold quality
standards. Must be able to MIG weld and work with metal core wire. Other Skills and Qualifications Proficient with
cutting torch to cope and detail components for proper fit-up. Knowledge of a variety of structural members (beams,
channel, angle). The layout of holes, cutouts, notches, etc. to specified dimensions and within noted tolerances. Must
