About the Role
Job Title The purpose of this classification is to operate equipment and perform manual work functions associated with
construction, repair, and maintenance of the City's Stormwater system. Job responsibilities include performing manual
work functions associated with Stormwater system construction, maintenance and repair; maintaining, cleaning, building
and/or repairing catch basins and storm drains; repairing pipeline breaks and leaks; cleaning tension ponds; cutting and
pouring concrete and asphalt; installing pipe; digging holes or trenches; replacing sidewalks and curbs; shoveling
materials; lifting and moving heavy materials. Additionally, the role involves transporting, loading and unloading
